MAMIS

The M.A.M.I.S. program (Madres abrazando mas iniciativas sanas = mothers embracing more healthy initiatives) was piloted in January, 2022 and began with a small group of mothers and their babies. Now there are over 20 mothers who have participated.

When mothers come, they are offered a place to gather and play with their little ones, prayer time, diapers, wipes, a toy for their babies, and toiletry gifts to pamper moms.

We provide snacks for mothers and babies. Our educational component has been provided by the staff from Camden County Center for Children’s Services. One of our hopes in creating M.A.M.I.S. was to connect mothers to agencies in the area. Most of what we give to our mothers and babies comes from donations.
